Dr. Elias has a strong background in the areas of teaching and research. He has taught courses in environmental science, biology, and agriculture. In addition, he has published research in the areas of pesticide use in agriculture, animal diversity, and environmental science. Dr. Elias is also affiliated with a number of professional organizations including the Ohio Valley Society of Environment Toxicology and Chemistry, the Indiana Academy of Science, and the Society for Freshwater Sciences. Dr. Elias worked with the Indiana State Department of Health - Environmental Laboratories and has been a reviewer for both environmental science research and pollution research.
